To the members of ETTPA and all Team penning and Sorting enthusiasts,

The new season is here and we are preparing for another great year at ETTPA. On December 17 your Board of Directors met to lay the foundation for 2012. With last season on our minds we have made a few adjustments.

The increased cost of producing the ETTPA show has forced us to raise the ride fees for the first time in five years. All events will be raised $5 per ride per rider with $2 going directly towards the finals. To further explain: In the events that are $30 per ride the payback will be on $28. In the events that are $25 per ride the payback will be on $23. In the Youth events which are $15 per ride the payback will be on $13. Once again the payback will be 60% in the Penning and Arena Sorting events and 50% in the Ranch Sorting events.

We have also raised the Grounds Fee from $10 to $15 for all persons competing in adult events. If a youth rider competes in only youth events they will not be charged a Grounds Fee.

We have left all Membership Fees, Stall Fees and Electrical hookup Fees the same.

We have made changes in two sorting events. The #12 Arena Sorting has been changed to a #10 Arena Sorting. We have also made a change in the Youth Ranch Sorting which now has a 5-Ride Limit. It will also be ALL DRAW with the youth riding together. There will no longer be adults riding with the youth.

In an effort to assist our members as much as possible we have scheduled five USTPA Co-Sanctioned shows again this year. Please refer to the Calendar page for the dates.

The ETTPA Board has reviewed all member ratings. Some have been changed. Please refer to the Member Ratings page for updates.

ETTPA has received five commitments for sponsorships for the 2012 season. If you would like to be an ETTPA sponsor or if you know someone who would like to advertise their business at each show and on our website, please contact one of the directors for more information. We are excited about the upcoming season. Our goal is to continue to provide our members with a well run show, higher payouts and more awards at the finals than ever before. But more importantly we want everyone to have fun.
