To the members
and friends of ETTPA,
This past weekend
reminded me that this is a team sport. John McLain had informed me earlier in
the week that he was bringing fresh cattle. He did not disappoint. The cattle put
the team back in Team Penning and Team Sorting. When all was said and done it
was a very good show. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We also had ten
new members join us.
I am pleased to
announce that the board has chosen Jey’s Saddlery to make our saddles again
this year. We will be awarding 3 Top Hand Saddles, and 8 Class Saddles. Good
news! We have had a saddle donated for the Youth Penning Class. So this year
there will be 12 very happy members at the Award Ceremony as a member can only win
one saddle.
I would like to

We are planning
for a big finals with added money in each adult class, and a lot of very nice
prizes. There are only 2 shows left before the finals. Make sure you are
qualified in all the classes in which you wish to compete.
A CHANGE OF
RULES:
The Board has
changed the Open Penning Class to an All Draw with a 3 Ride minimum. A rider
can also draw up to 5 times.

To the members and friends of ETTPA,
I would like to announce that ETTPA will be hosting a Ranch Sorting Clinic. We have had several requests that Grady hold another clinic, and he has agreed to hold one on September 3, 2010 at 7 pm. This is the Friday night before our September show.
Grady Underwood has numerous awards as a competitor, and conducts clinics around the U.S.A. in the sport of Ranch Sorting and Team Penning. As a participant you will be receiving group and individual instruction on the skill of working and reading cattle in the sorting pens. The clinic fee is $100 per person. Space is limited.
